We usually see patients by appointment only, unless there is an urgent problem or emergency. Patients should have a current referral from their Doctor.
If patients wish to cancel or change their appointment we ask that they give us at least 24hrs notice.

After Hours

After hours, the phone has a recorded message explaining how to contact Paul Allison.
After surgery, patients are given his direct 24hr contact number. In the event of an emergency, patients are asked to go straight to Pindara Private Hospital or the Gold Coast Hospital. 

Telephone Calls

Patients are encouraged to ring with any questions or problems. Paul Allison is always available to take calls in an emergency, though for routine matters he may not be able to return calls until the evening.
Patients will often be rung with results of tests, especially if this saves them a follow-up appointment. 

Fees

Fees are based on the scale recommended by the AMA and the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery. These fees are discounted if patients have pension entitlements.
Patients are always given an approximate idea of fees to be charged prior to appointments or surgery.
We do not normally bulk bill.
